Bonjour, Martin Grandbarbe, j'ai 33 ans. Fan de figurines depuis tout petit, j'adore la SF, l'animation Japonaise, les Mechas et le spectacle que nous offre la nature.

Tombé dedans très tôt car un de mes grands cousins faisait de la figurine, mais l'élément déclencheur a été mon père en m'offrant mes premières figurines, pots, pinceauxet Le guide de peinture Eavy Metal signé Mike McVey. Là c'était foutu j'ai jamais lâché.

Je suis dans le milieu de la figurine depuis mes 18 ans en commençant peintre studio chez Rackham. Après la chute j'ai fait quelques jobs et après la chute de la boutique (encore) où je bossais et un peu de chômage j'ai décidé de me mettre à faire de la peinture en freelance car je sais faire que ça de mes dix doigts ^^. J'ai bossé pour pas mal de monde mais maintenant je suis très occupé avec les projets de Monolith et de Mythic Games.
I'm in the middle of the figure in my 18 years in beginning painter studio at Rackham. After the fall I did a few jobs and after the fall of the shop (yet) where I worked and a bit of unemployment I decided to do freelance paint because I do it to my ten fingers ^^. I've worked for a lot of people, but now I am very busy with the Monolith and Mythic Games projects.

Les principales sont celles qui m'ont le plus influencé étant gamin comme Games Workshop et après Rackham.

Aujourd'hui je suis assez bluffé par le travail de Bigchild Creativ. Ca me fait des choses quand je regarde leurs peintures.
Sinon on peut citer, John Blanche, Paul Bonner, Giger, Katsuhiro Otomo, Mamoru Nagano, Philippe Caza, Juan Gimenez, Paolo Parente et la Nature.

Travailler avec pleins de couleurs en bordel et faire pleins de glacis pour enrichir et satiner tout ça. J'adore les encres aussi c'est surpuissant et mortel une fois ajouté à ses mélanges de peinture.
Work with a lot of colors in hell and do a lot of glaze to enrich and calendering all. I love the inks also is powerful and deadly once added to its paint mixtures.

Je ne parlerais pas de figs ou de techniques car au final ça reste subjectif, mais le fait de pouvoir continuer à faire ce boulot et de bosser sur des chouettes projets est ce dont je suis le plus fier aujourd'hui.
I would not talk about figs or techniques because in the end it remains subjective, but the fact of being able to continue to do this work and to work on nice projects is what I am proud of today.

De pas avoir assez de temps pour faire plus de jeux car les gros projets c'est chronophage.
Not having enough time to do more games because big projects are time consuming.

Trop ^^ ! Pour rejoindre ce que je disais au dessus je passe mon temps libre à ne faire que de la fig de jeux car c'est ce qui me détends le plus. Je n'ai plus du tout envie de faire de la figurine "concours" car ça prend trop de temps et l'envie n'est vraiment plus là.
To join what I said above I spend my free time to do only the fig of games because that is what relaxes me the most. I no longer want to make the figurine "contest" because it takes too long and the envy is really no longer there.

De ne jamais abandonner et de pratiquer sans cesse car comme toute discipline le travail est payant.

D'être très curieux et de se poser des questions.
De garder la tête froide aussi car faut pas oublier que c'est un hobby avant tout.
