Mecha - Peinture - FR-EN

Voici la seconde partie de cette série d'articles concernant mon Mecha, dédiée à la mise en couleurs. Si ce n'est pas déjà fait, n'hésitez pas à lire la première partie concernant la conception de ce projet!

La Peinture

J'ai attaqué la peinture du mecha par les pattes. Réalisées en MNM (métal non métallique), l'exercice fut très long car à appliquer sur deux éléments identiques.

Pour mon MNM, j'utilise comme base un mélange de Terre d'ombre brulée et de Dark Sea Blue, que j'éclaircis avec du Pale Blue et du blanc pour les éclats de lumière.
Je passe également divers lavis et glacis avec du marron, turquoise, violet...

Painting

I started by painting the legs with NMM (non metallic metal) technic. 

My first layer is a mix of burnt umber and Dark Sea Blue, lightened with Pale Blue and white for the highlights.
There is a lot of glazes with brown, turquoise, purple...

 

Pour le cockpit, je suis parti d'une base à l'aérographe en Pale Blue, puis en Mars Orange après masquage, toujours à l'aérographe.

For the cockpit, i made the first coat by airbrush with Pale Blue, then after masking, a coat of Mars Orange, still by airbrush.

La suite de la mise en couleur a consisté à peindre les détails au pinceau et à coller les décalcomanies, réalisés par mes soins.

Then i made the details by brush and i integrated my home maid decals.



Et après quatre mois de construction et trois mois de peinture, voici le résultat final!

After four month of scratchbuilding and three months of painting, here is the final result!

Review - Golem Miniatures - L'esclave blanche (FR / EN)

Salut à tous! Aujourd'hui je viens de reçevoir un gros colis! Il s'agit d'une nouveauté de Golem Miniatures.
Hello! Today I received a new box! It is a new miniature from Golem Miniatures.

La figurine et protégée par du papier bulle et on a un petit flyer!
The miniature box is protected by bubble package. Oh, a little flyer!

La boîte de la figurine est simple mais soignée: boîte en carton avec étiquette. A l'intérieur, la pièce est protégée par une mousse noire.
The miniature's package is quite nice. A black cardboard box with sticjker. Inside, the mini is protected with a black foam.

J'aime bien cette pose, assez inédite en figurine. Le moulage est propre, sans ligne.
I like the miniature's position. It is quite unusual. Molding is clean, without flash!

La figurine a été modélisée en 3D, puis un master a été imprimé. Enfin, des tirages résine ont été produits à partir de ce master.
The miniature was designed thanks to 3D. Then a master has been 3D printed. Finaly, the production models has been made from this master.

Petit défaut: le pied, très joli, a une grosse carotte. Il va falloir être prudent à la préparation.
Little defect: the nice feet has a big sprue. Dangerous for the preparation!

Conclusion: J'étais assez curieux à l'annonce de ce projet, puis j'attendais de voir le résultat. Je suis plutôt content de ce que j'ai en main, même si je l'imaginais plus grand. J'aî bien hâte de la peindre!

Conclusion: I was quite curious about this projet, then I was expecting the result. I'm rather happy with the result. However I had in mind than the figure will be bigger. I know want to paint it!

Je tombe sur les 4 chefs-d'oeuvre de Hirelings of Asura par Sergio Calvo (designés par Adrian Prado et sculptés par Joaquin Palacios). 5 minutes plus tard, je deviens le 91ème backer de ce fantastique Kickstarter !! Ma journée est comblée.

WTF! What, there's more of them?! My heart is running wild. I scroll as fast as I can and now.... Retinal failure! I find the 4 masterpieces of Hirelings of Asura by Sergio Calvo (designed by Adrian Prado and sculpted by Joaquin Palacios). 5 minutes later, I become the 91st backer of this fantastic Kickstarter! My day is over.

Avril 2019, je reçois dans ma boite aux lettres mon précieux pledge !! La qualité est-elle au rendez-vous ? OUIIIIIIII ! On est sur du lourd, du très lourd ! Quasi aucune ligne de moulage, aucune bulle, des finitions chirurgicales avec des détails magnifiques ! Les figurines sont énormes avec 2 options (têtes, armes, bras) à chaque fois. Bref assez de blabla, place aux photos !

April 2019, I receive in my mailbox my precious pledge! Is the quality high? YEEEEESSS ! We're on to something big, something very big! Almost no molding lines, no bubbles, surgical finishes with beautiful details! The figurines are huge with 2 options (heads, weapons, arms) each time. Enough blah, blah, it's time for pictures!

Options : 2 visages / 2 faces

Tsukigoro

Options : 2 bras / 2 arms

L'épée de Tsukirogo et le bâton de Akurei sont un peu tordus mais rien de grave... Un peu d'eau chaude ou un coup de sèche cheveux et ni vu ni connu.

Tsukirogo's sword and Akurei's stick are a little bent but nothing serious.... A little hot water or a blow dryer and it's fixed.

 Kijin 

Options : 2 têtes / 2 heads

Kijin est la plus grosse des 4 personnes. C'est du 80 mm. Regardez le à côté d'un stormcast Shadespire... Énorme !!!
Kijin is the biggest of the 4 characters. It's 80 mm. Look at him next to a Shadespire stormcast.... It's uge!!!!!


Encore merci à Sergio, Adrian et Joaquin !! Vous avez fait un travail de fou ! J'ai hâte de poser mes pinceaux dessus !! Un display des 4 pour la world expo ???! Qui sait :)
